Alchemical Symbols
There is a great variety of alchemical symbols due to the different traditions of alchemy on different continents and also due to the lack of uniformity between different alchemists. Keep in mind that alchemists always worked surrounded by great secrecy and wrote their manuscripts with cryptic symbols to prevent other people from deciphering them.
